When your order ships
- Ready-to-ship paintings and gifts: dispatched within 3–5 working days of your order.
- Made-to-order pieces (personalised nameplates, portraits, sketches and other customised work): made after you approve the design proof we send you, then dispatched. The making time is shown on each product page. It is usually 7–14 working days.
Working days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays. During festivals and sale periods, dispatch can take a few extra days. We will tell you if your order is affected.

Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, we email you the courier name and a tracking number. If you haven’t received it within the dispatch times above, write to us at contact@indiavillageart.com.
Packaging
Artwork is fragile, so we pack every piece to travel. Paintings are wrapped in protective sheets and either rolled in a sturdy tube or packed flat in a rigid box, depending on size and surface. Resin pieces and nameplates are padded on all sides and boxed.
International orders
- We ship to most countries. If we can’t reach your address, we will contact you and refund you in full.
- Customs duties and import taxes charged by your country are not included in our prices or shipping charge, and are paid by you when the parcel arrives.
- If a parcel is refused or returned because duties weren’t paid, we can’t refund the shipping charge.
Address and delivery
Please check your address and phone number at checkout. The courier may call before delivering. If a parcel comes back to us because of an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, we will re-ship it once you pay the shipping charge again.
Damaged in transit?
If your parcel looks damaged, please record a short unboxing video and tell us within 48 hours of delivery. We will replace or refund damaged items. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for how.
